NORCCA has collected, maintains, and distributes more than 2000 strains of cyanobacteria, micro- and macroalgae. While some of the algae was isolated in exotic locations, like Africa and Antarctica, most originate from Norwegian lakes, rivers and coastal waters.
The collection offers access to algal strains and growth media which can be ordered directly through their website. Read more on their website.
